Happy New Year!
Romantic. Whimsical. Delicate.
Sometimes we add a little spice, a bit of sugar and a just the right amount of WOW! We love to hear the word WOW! (and ooh! AND ahh!! as well).
It's a special little recipe that is usually never made the same way twice. It's so special there are no cookie cutters allowed.
I am so excited about the new year and what it has in store for us. We wrapped up another fabulous year. Each year, I grow more in love with what I do! Don't get me wrong...it's not always glamorous. The responsibility of weddings is enormous and alot of mental, emotional and physical work involved.
From Thanksgiving to Valentine's Day, many ladies will become engaged. You will experience so many emotions from being joyous to giddy, to being overwhelmed and frustrated. When brides select my company for coordinating, rentals or design, to me, it's a privilege to be a very important part of your special day. Something I do not take for granted whatsoever.
To help you begin your journey of wedding planning, I want to remind you of the Gateway Bridal Show at the Gateway Center in Collinsville on Thursday January 8, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
You will get to see first hand some design ideas in the LaSalle Room. From the head table, backdrop, lighting to many different tables each a different color, centerpiece, chair covers, favors, etc.
The designs will represent Romantic. Whimsical. Delicate. We will showcase a little something for everyone and we certainly know one thing for sure:
There are no two weddings alike...don't settle for a cookie cutter!
See you Thursday!
Check out some of the items we have for sale from our inventory. We need to make room for our new items. Chech out the great items and even better prices!
Visit the GiGi Boutique......hurry they won't last long!

I have this great friend, Susan G. She is a football mom and that is where we met a few years ago. Susan G. is one of the most kindest, caring, and sincerest lady I know. Along with the fact she is from TEXAS (and you can tell!), she is full of fun, energy and quite artistic.
It didn't surprise me a while back when she decided to go back to college and pursue her higher education in language. Specifically, American Sign Language.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have someone to translate your special day via sign language for your guests who are deaf or hard of hearing?
Here is the info:
Susan G. can provide the following services for weddings and/or corporate meeting/events.
SERVICES: ASL (American Sign Language)/Transliterating Interpreting. She will make arrangements for team interpreting.
COST: FREE, provided by ASL students from SWIC (Southwestern Illinois College)
CONTACT: Weck Events & Weddings, 618-566-8840, 314-504-0644, affairs@weckevents.com and we will have Susan G. contact you.
